Raining Again!

I'm really glad I have an indoor occupation, because if I was one who wanted to be outside all summer, I'd be seriously depressed by now! Moving right along . . .






I've started felting again with some of the rovings that I found the other week. My favorite base material is "repurposed" denim, because it doesn't shrink much in the felting process. I'm thinking that with some beads and maybe some machine stitching, this could become a cute book cover.





I managed to finish off a small messenger bag on the long weekend. I really like these bags - just big enough for cash & a cell phone, with a strap long enough to put over my head and let the bag hang at my side. I added a jeans pocket on the outside, trimmed with some of my hand crocheted lace, and finished it off with a chatelaine style pin. This one is definitely for me (it has already been to Farmer's Market once), but I'll be putting similar ones on patchmaker.etsy.com as soon as I get them finished.
