Roses, Lighthouses, Lobster Traps, and Arisaig

The wild roses are in bloom! This is the Cape George light.

It's a great spot for a picnic, even on a cool and rainy day.

You can have an ice cream cone at the Arisaig lighthouse . . . . .

but we didn't because it was raining . . .

A quick walk around the wharf. . . .
and we set off for home.
I'd better post this now, as I just heard on the radio that there are major power outages in our area. It's been really windy and rainy all day.
Happy Quilting

You have some beautiful scenery there in NS. Nothing like that in Windsor ON. I'm going to visit your province once I retire which is in another 4.5 yrs. Great pictures!

Thanks, Mary-Kay! We're originally from Manitoba - been here 3 years - and we still spend our spare time being tourists!
