Skinny Scarves

Over the last year and a half, I'd forgotten just how tired standing, walking, lifting, and pushing can make a person, but the last few weeks have brought it all back. That and the fact that I can't find the power cord for my electric massaging slippers. So this weekend seemed like a good time for a "sitting down project", and in the brief minutes when my eyes were actually open, I found this pattern for a crochet "Skinny Scarf" over at http://www.knittingdaily.com/media/p/14025.aspx. They have tons of free patterns and directions and advice over there. I used Red Heart Lustre Sheen yarn for the Skinny Scarf, and added a couple of extra rows to the "Alpaca Scarf" directions. Finding a model was another issue.

"Are we done yet?"

Quickly turned into:
"Really, we are done, aren't we!"
After which she hooked the scarf off with one paw, tossed it on the floor, and went back to watching the crows. Good help is so hard to find!

Happy Quilting (or crocheting)
Maggie
