So Many Pictures, But No Camera!

Friday was an incredibly rainy day here;  statistics say that Halifax got over 100 mm of rain - about 3 inches.  Here we got a mere 60 mm (only 2 inches), but I don't remember when I last saw it rain so hard.  I tried to take a picture, but it doesn't quite do justice.  Lets just say it was raining so much, The Critter was up to his Critter knees just walking around in the back yard.

Yesterday, I went to Lake Charlotte with a friend.  There was an incredibly amount of standing water left from the storm.  I had every intention of bringing home pictures of the lake, the water, the washed out roads, the puppies I met, the Zodiac I helped load in the truck (and yes, my neck and shoulder will forgive me - eventually), but when I dug the camera out to start clicking, the battery was absolutely dead.  Duh!  How could I have done that?????  Sorry, no pics.  And the puppies were very cute, too, but you'll just have to take my word for that!

I have another finish to report.  This is the latest custom order, and it's on its way to its new home in the US.

I promised myself I'd spend some time building up stock, doing a decent job with my Etsy shop, and playing with the longarm machine, so that's where I'll be today.  Here's one of the latest additions to my Etsy shop,
