A Brief Burst of Summer!

It has been rainy and cold lately, but yesterday was a nice burst of summer!  It was warm, sunny, AND I spent a couple of days in Annapolis Royal to get the keys to my new house!  Today, I'm back "home" and it's pouring rain and cold again, but the trip was great!

The Lupins are in full bloom along the roadsides

Not sure what this is, but it sure is pretty!

This, too.

I'm not a good photographer, and I go by the theory that if I take enough pictures, one of them is bound to turn out okay.  I really like this shot of the gazebo. The vines need a bit of trimming back;  that will give me something to do in my spare time???

Next Friday is moving day and then the real fun begins . . . . .   unpacking, arranging, rearranging, and setting up the new sewing space!  Then, I think I need a couple of de-stress days to drink tea (or whatever), sit in the shade, and contemplate my navel!

Happy Quilting!
Maggie
