I'll check with hubby . . . but first - did you get the top/cover for the machine? Because the original storage spot for the knee lift was to tuck it in a slot in the cover. You wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking for it. Mine was rescued from a load of stuff bound for the dump when someone was cleaning out a garage and home of an elderly woman. Alas, I am sadly missing the knee control as well.. and everything from that site is long gone. If your hubby is handy and you have an original to go by, I'm wondering if he could fabricate something for me?? I'd, of course, be willing to pay or trade fabric for the knee control.. so long as it isn't too dear.
